Yes - it's normal for parts of your Ooni Pro 16 that are exposed to extremely
high temperatures to show signs of rust, patina or oxidation. This will not
affect the way your oven performs in any way - you can keep on cooking for
years to come!
**Can I remove patina / oxidation?**
The best way to remove patina / oxidation is by following the steps below:
1. Wait until your oven is completely cool
2. Wipe down the inside and outside of your oven with a paper towel or rag and stainless steel cleaner (such as Bar Keeper's Friend or Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner)
