My Ooni Koda 16 is getting too hot after converting to natural gas.Updated 7 months ago
_Note_ : It's normal for Ooni's wood and gas-fueled pizza ovens to reach 950°F
(500°C). Before carrying out the following troubleshooting steps, make sure
you confirm that your oven is running hotter than this (or too hot on the
lowest setting).

If your Ooni Koda 16 is running too hot after converting to natural gas,
follow the steps below. Note: these are instructions if you have installed the
[Natural Gas Conversion Kit](https://ooni.com/products/ooni-natural-gas-
conversion-kit?_pos=3&_sid=6547e4be5&_ss=r), not the Ooni Koda 16 Natural Gas
Line oven.
**Step 1. **First, check to make sure you've installed the nozzles - if the
nozzles aren't present, too much gas will be flowing into your oven at once.
**Step 2. **Then, check your home gas supply pressure:
* Running Ooni Koda 16 on natural gas will require a home gas supply pressure of 7iwc.
* If your home gas supply pressure is **higher** than this, your oven will be overpowered. To fix this, you can purchase a regulator to reduce your home gas supply pressure. These can be found at your local hardware store such as Home Depot or Lowe's.
**Step 3.** Finally, reduce the flow of gas using the tap on your outlet.
Close over the tap until the flames look similar to the ones below:
