How do I use the Ooni Gas Tank Adaptor with my 1lb camping gas tank?

camping gas tank.

Note: The Ooni Gas Tank Adaptor is exclusively available in the US and is only

compatible with the [Ooni Koda 12](https://ooni.com/products/ooni-koda), [Gas

Burner for Ooni 3](https://ooni.com/products/ooni-3-gas-

burner?_pos=1&_sid=9a198b500&_ss=r) and [Ooni Karu 12 Gas

Burner](https://ooni.com/products/ooni-gas-

burner?_pos=3&_sid=9a198b500&_ss=r). It is not compatible with any other oven

or gas burner model.

**To connect the adapter** :

1. Screw the Ooni Gas Adaptor onto the regulator that came with your Ooni oven or gas burner. IMPORTANT: Never attach the adaptor onto the gas tank first.

2. Secure the 1lb propane tank to the end of the adapter. Make sure the gas tank is kept upright at all times.

3. Check for leaks before every use by performing a [leak test](https://ooni.kustomer.support/en_us/how-do-i-perform-a-gas-leak-test-BJdijR_zj). When performing a leak test, make sure not to submerge the adaptor under water.

4. Note: Keep the adapter away from extreme temperatures.

**To disconnect the adapter:**

1. Make sure the oven is off.

2. Disconnect the gas tank from the adaptor.** IMPORTANT: Never disconnect the regulator from the adaptor first**.

3. Remove the adapter from the regulator.

4. Press the control dial in and turn it slowly, but stop before it clicks. This will disperse any excess gas in the hose.
