## Attaching a gas hose

**Step 1:** Screw the brass connection onto the gas valve, then tighten by
hand.

**Step 2:** Secure the gas valve with a spanner while using a second to
tighten the brass connection by a quarter-turn.

until fully removed.

**Note: **If you are finding it hard to remove the hose, you can soften it
using the hot air from a hairdryer. Always wear protective gloves when doing
this, as the metal can get hot.
