## Can I use butane with Ooni Koda 16?

Yes - Ooni Koda 16 can be used with butane and LPG gas, but there are a few

things to keep in mind:

* Butane will produce a somewhat sootier flame

* 🇺🇸 🇨🇦** 🇨🇰 🇦🇺 In the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand:** we recommend only using propane

* 🇬🇧 🌍 **In the UK and Europe:** we recommend swapping your regulator for a butane compatible one (with the exception of our 50mBar ovens - these are _not_ certified for use with butane):

## Can I use natural gas with Ooni Koda 16?

Yes - But only in the US and Canada. The Ooni Koda 16 has two options for

using natural gas.

**Option 1:** The oven can be converted for use with natural gas with the

**Option 2:** You can purchase the [Ooni Koda 16 Natural Gas Line

oven](https://ooni.com/products/ooni-koda-16?variant=40170656464993). Select

this option from the drop-down menu on the product page. This oven comes ready

to be connected to natural gas. (Note: this oven model cannot be converted to

use with propane gas tanks)
